Howto modify Gnome Shell 3 Themes

I had talked about Gnome Shell 3 ever since. If you followed me from my Linux blog magazine, you saw that I had been introduced Gnome Shell 3, showing how to modify the Gnome Shell date format and fonts. But I didn’t teaches how to change Gnome Shell Themes.

Gnome Shell can change Themes? Yes it does! After all it’s the next generation GNOME desktop environment. People in gnome-look and deviantart lead us to these stunning GNOME Shell themes which are absolutely beautiful. Below are those beautiful pageant:

Simple Installation Instructions
Type command after pressing ALT+F2:
$ beesu nautilus (Fedora)
or
$ gksu nautilus (Ubuntu)

Then
# Backup your /usr/share/gnome-shell/theme directory (or where ever you have GNOME shell installed).
# Extract the downloaded file and copy the theme directory to /usr/share/gnome-shell/
# Restart GNOME Shell by Alt, F2, then type r and press enter.
