How to flash rom for your phone? It is safe to flash it? Flashing any custom rom like cyanogenmod 7 or miui is very simple. After installing it, you will have a lot of other features on your phone. But you need to root your phone device at first. Nothing complicated anymore with clockworkmod rom manager. All you need to do is follow the guide below:
Installing ClockworkMod ROM Manager
# Open Play store app, search for “rom manager”.
# Install latest version of Clockworkmod rom manager app.
# Once installed, go to app draw and open Rom Manager.
# When installing ROM manager, the SuperUser app will ask permission to proceed with install.
# Check remember and then hit the allow button.
Recovery
# Press “Flash ClockworkMod Recovery” (enable wifi connection to do this)
# Rom manager will then flash your phone rom image. Once complete you will see the following: “Successfully flashed.”
Download Rom
# On the Rom Manager, press Download Rom.
# Go to free column and press cyanogenmod to download the latest rom. (premium user enjoy more features as usual)
# Once finish downloading, press into it and start flashing.
Flashing Rom
# Select the option to Backup Existing Rom, Wipe Data and Cache, Wipe Dalvik Cache.
# It will reboot and start processing. Patiently wait for it to finish.
# Once the installation has finished, You should now boot into CyanogenMod.
